  72. This package contains the FONTKAT/WIN Font Cataloger v2.0, written by
  73. Alex Ogden Software, and published by Science Translations Software
  74. Services. This document contains only a brief description of the
  75. package and its features, along with instructions for its installation.
  76. Detailed documentation is included in the package.

  78. FONTKAT/WIN is a shareware program.  You may use this evaluation version
  79. of FONTKAT for up to 30 days, without charge.  If you like the program,
  80. and wish to continue its use after this evaluation period, you are
  81. required to purchase a copy for $20 (see REGISTER.TXT for more
  82. details). Any fee you may have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers,
  83. etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for their copying and
  84. distribution services, rather than a payment for continued use of the
  85. program.

  87. Upon registration you receive the much enhanced version of the
  88. program.  Added features include:  several more selections for the type
  89. of text FONTKAT will use in creating font specimens; the ability to
  90. select fonts to catalog by entering a text pattern; and the ability to
  91. view the documentation file while in FONTKAT. In addition to these added
  92. features, purchasers also receive FONTMAP, which creates a
  93. printed keyboard map for your international/symbol/dingbat fonts.

  117. INSTALLATION
  118. ============

  120. Installation of the files comprising the FONTKAT system is accomplished
  121. by running the appropriate setup macro provided. If you want to
  122. install FONKAT for use with either WP 6.0a or 6.1, use SETUP6. If you
  123. intend to use FONTKAT with WP 7.0, use SETUP7.
  124.  
  125. Start WordPerfect for Windows as you normally do. From the editing screen
  126. activate the appropriate setup macro by pressing Macro (Alt-F10), enter
  127. the full path and filename to SETUP6.WCM or SETUP7.WCM (for example,
  128. "A:\SETUP7"). The installation program will prompt you to enter the
  129. information it needs:
  130.  
  131.    "Copy the files from:"
  132.          This is where the uninstalled files are located.  The default
  133.          value is A:\.  Edit the line as needed to reflect the full path
  134.          to the files (such as "D:\DOWNLOAD", for instance).
  135.  
  136.    "Copy the macros to:"
  137.          Your Main and Supplemental macro directories are shown as radio
  138.          buttons. By default your Main macro directory is selected as the
  139.          place to copy FONTKAT macro files to. If you want them placed in
  140.          your Supplemental macro directory, simply click on it.
  141.  
  142.    "All other files will be copied to:"
  143.          This is where the documentation file, template files, and other
  144.          related documents, will be copied to. It will be a directory
  145.          named FONTKAT created off of your WordPerfect program directory.
  146.          You cannot edit this option.
  147.  
  148.    NOTE:  SETUPx.WCM will NOT be copied to either of these directories
  149.           so be sure to keep a backup copy of the original FONTKAT disk.

  155. documentation file provided ("FKWIN20.TXT").

  157. To invoke FONTKAT, at the main editing screen of WordPerfect press Macro
